Legal Practice
Richard is locally known for his deep roots to the Philadelphia region and his relentless commitment to his clients and for developing creative solutions to client issues. His practice is based in Philadelphia but practices throughout the Philadelphia region, including the state and federal courts in Pennsylvania. Richard’s practice mix includes representation of individuals and small business owners to multinational corporations. He has extensive experience in putting together real estate and business transaction as well as resolving the inevitable disputes that arise in today’s competitive business environment. Unlike many of today’s legal professionals Richard is not specialized in a single facet of the law, instead he draws on his experience from working on Wall Street before law school as well as from putting deals together and when necessary enforcing a client’s rights in court.
Richard understands the unique needs of his clients and develops dynamic solutions for each of their legal requirements and concerns including assisting each client arrive at a decision of what is in their best interest whether it be to proceed with a transaction or to enforce their rights if necessary.
Biography
Richard was born in Philadelphia and raised in the greater metropolitan area graduating from Harriton High School in Lower Merion in 1979. After graduating from Columbia College in 1983, Richard worked in the Executive Management Program at American Express in New York and in Austin Texas. Richard went to Law School in 1987 and graduated from University of Pennsylvania School of Law, cum laude, in 1990. Since 1996 Richard has practiced with his own firm in Philadelphia, focusing on representing businesses and individuals in their business dealings and business disputes as well as helping them plan for their family’s future by providing estate planning and estate administration. Richard lives in Wayne, PA with his wife Patti and has three children.
