Don spent his entire 18+ year career as a Fundraising and Development Professional for small to medium-sized charitable organizations.  In these leadership roles, he forged lasting relationships with a broad spectrum of constituencies and raised millions of dollars for organizations throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.​

On March 11th of 2014, his life changed forever.  Suddenly, and without warning, as Don shopped in a local store, a drunk driver plowed through the storefront.  Don was struck and crushed from the waist down.  The long, slow recovery from his near-fatal injuries included 17 surgeries to repair his pelvis, hip and legs and  a grueling nearly two year endeavor to learn to walk on his own again.  In that time, Don's determination to walk evolved into a passion to use his terrifying experience to once again help others. Each step he took became one step closer to turning his tragedy into triumph. New Horizons Life and Leadership is the product of his passions and his way of living revolutionary.

Today, he dedicates his time, energy and passion toward empowering men and women facing challenging life-transitions define and achieve their revolutionary life as well. ​

Don resides in Paoli, PA with his teenage son.  His newest endeavor is to reconnect with his love of the outdoors by learning to safely hike again.
